10 Minute Gentle Stretching Playlist

Movement is one of the pillars of a Morning, Human! routine, and one of our favorites is a little light stretching. It’s easy, it’s free, and it feels great. But every morning is slightly different, so you should have several playlists saved and ready to go. This playlist is filled with songs that feel a bit like a warm hug or a hot cup of tea.

The vibe of this playlist is gentle, moody, and a little bit wistful.

There’s there’s no need to overthink this. Just pop on this gentle stretching playlist and start doing simple moves that feel good to your body. Try picking four to five stretches and slowly cycle through them while you let your mind completely relax. Here are some of our favorites:

Want a little more time on the mat? Try this breathing exercise during the fifth song. Lie comfortably on your back with your eyes softly closed. Begin by inhaling deeply and slowly through your nose, feeling your chest and abdomen expand. Count to five silently as you inhale. Hold this breath for a moment of peaceful stillness. Then, gently exhale through your mouth for a count of five, releasing any lingering tension or stress. Repeat this calming cycle until the song ends. This gentle, rhythmic breathing, known as ‘Diaphragmatic Breathing,’ helps soothe your mind and body, setting a relaxed tone for your day.”
